Holy Cross Parish and Friary invites all who are seeking a deeper life of faith, prayer, fellowship, and service to become part of the life of the parish. To get involved is not simply to join an activity. It is to share in the worship, mission, and daily witness of a community seeking to live the Gospel with reverence, compassion, and joy.
Whether you are new to Holy Cross Parish and Friary or have already begun to feel at home here, there are many ways to participate in the life of the Church. We welcome longtime believers, newcomers, seekers, families, and all who desire to grow in prayer, service, and Christian community.
A Place to Belong
Holy Cross Parish and Friary is more than a place to attend services. It is a parish community where people are invited into a shared life of worship, care, friendship, and spiritual growth. We believe the Church should be a place where people are known, welcomed, and encouraged to grow in grace.
Getting involved begins with presence. Come to worship, introduce yourself, ask questions, and allow yourself time to become familiar with the life of the parish. Community grows through prayer, trust, and faithful participation.
Worship and Spiritual Life
The heart of parish life is worship. One of the most important ways to become involved at Holy Cross Parish and Friary is to join the community regularly for Mass, prayer, and the sacramental life of the Church. Through worship, the faithful are formed in grace, nourished by Holy Communion, and drawn more deeply into the life of Christ.
Those who desire to grow spiritually are also encouraged to take part in prayer requests, devotional life, preparation for the sacraments, and opportunities for Christian formation as they are offered in the parish.
To become involved in the Church is first to become rooted in prayer.
Serve the Parish
Holy Cross Parish and Friary depends on the faithful service of people who offer their time, gifts, and energy in support of the Church’s life and ministry. There are many forms of service, both visible and quiet, that help sustain the parish and strengthen its witness.
You may feel called to assist with hospitality, administration, practical help, outreach, music, liturgical support, communications, prayer ministry, or other forms of parish service. No act of service offered in faith is too small. Every gift contributes to the life of the Church.

Outreach and Community Care
The mission of the Church extends beyond its walls. Holy Cross Parish and Friary seeks to serve others through compassion, pastoral presence, prayer, and practical care. Getting involved may include helping with outreach efforts, supporting those in need, assisting with pastoral visits, or participating in ministries that express the love of Christ in the wider community.
We believe the Gospel is made visible not only in worship, but also in mercy, generosity, and the faithful care of neighbor.
